Today, our tour will take you to Erice, a charming medieval village perched on top of a mountain, offering breathtaking views of the sea and the surrounding countryside. You’ll take part in a Cooking Class, where you’ll learn to prepare some traditional Sicilian dishes and discover the secrets of recipes passed down through generations. A fun and authentic experience before heading to Trapani, where you’ll taste the famous couscous, a dish that represents the fusion of Mediterranean and North African traditions. Today’s tour includes a visit to Marsala, world-famous for its sweet and aromatic wine. After exploring Agrigento, we’ll continue to the unmissable Piazza Armerina, where you will visit the famous Villa Romana del Casale. This Roman villa is renowned for its incredibly detailed and colorful mosaics, depicting scenes of daily life, mythology, and nature. It is a true treasure of ancient art and history. Finally, to complete your experience, there will be a tasting of local products. You will sample cheeses, cured meats, olive oil, honey, and traditional sweets, discovering the authentic flavors of Sicily.
Our journey in search of Sicilian flavors is not over yet: today, you’ll visit a dairy farm near Ragusa, where you will taste fresh and aged cheeses such as ricotta, caciotta, and much more. It’s a delicious experience that will let you discover the authentic flavors of Sicilian cheesemaking traditions, often accompanied by warm bread and high-quality olive oil. A perfect way to enjoy the genuine tastes of this beautiful region! After the cheese tasting, we’ll continue with a visit to Modica, famous for its artisanal chocolate. Here, you’ll take part in a chocolate tasting featuring high-quality products made according to ancient local recipes. Dark chocolate, milk chocolate, and chocolate flavored with spices or citrus fruits — discovering the secrets of this centuries-old tradition. Today, a guided tour of Syracuse awaits you, one of the most fascinating cities on the island. During this walk, you’ll explore the historic center of Ortigia, with its picturesque streets, the Cathedral, and the seafront promenade. It’s an experience rich in history, art, and breathtaking views! Afterwards, we’ll move on to Catania, a lively city full of energy. Here, you’ll enjoy a short tour of the historic center, admiring the majestic Piazza del Duomo, the famous Ursino Castle, and Via Etnea, the vibrant heart of the city.
