Trip Highlights

Itinerary

Individual arrival to Nicolosi, small village at the slope of the Mount Etna. Check in and overnight.
Our ride begins after breakfast in the direction of Adrano with its historic center and Norman Castle. Afterwards you will see the “Saraceno Bridge” and the nature reserve of the “Simeto Lava Pits”. Overnight stay in Bronte, a beautiful town, known everywhere for the cultivation of pistachios.
Today you will ride in direction of Maniace, famous for the Castle of the Admiral Orace Nelson and worth a visit. You can also visit the former Norman Abbey of S. Maria di Maniace. Finally you will arrive in Randazzo, small town at the slope of the Mount Etna with an interesting historical Medieval centre.
You will cross “Passo Pisciaro” where you will have the chance to taste one the DOC wine of the Etna at a local cellar. On the way you will see the Alkantara Gorges, spectacular canyon where the river flows. Arrival in Giardini Naxos, dinner and overnight.
Do not miss a visit to the ancient Naxos, the first Greek colony in Sicily. Today’s ride will take you to Taormina, famous for its art and culture, known as the Pearl of Sicily. Possibility to visit the ancient Greek-Roman temple with its breathtaking view over the sea and the Etna.
You will ride along the Riviera of Lemons and arrive to Acireale, rich in art and baroque architecture, and Acitrezza, small fisherman village evoked by the writer Giovanni Verga in its masterpeace “I Malavoglia”.
After breakfast, departure and end of our services.
