From Milazzo itself, in the morning, we will take a boat that will take us to Stromboli. Upon arrival we will have time to relax on its wonderful beaches. In the afternoon we will make the spectacular ascent of the Stromboli volcano* with a guide specialized in volcanology, where we will be able to contemplate the impressive volcanic activity.
In the morning we will make a crossing (optional) by boat around the island, contemplating the volcano from different perspectives and visiting the charming village of Ginostra, located in one of the most beautiful corners of all Strómboli, as well as the pretty village of San Vincenzo. In the afternoon, for better appreciate the incandescent lavas, we will make a panoramic excursion where we will have our first encounter with volcanic activity and where We will enjoy beautiful views of the entire crater.
HALF PENSION. In the morning we will go by boat to the Island of Lípari. After staying at the hotel we will make a excursion through the South zone of the Island from which we will have Very good views over Vulcano, the coastal area of Lípari and the islands of Alicudi, Filicudi and Salina.
After breakfast we will embark to move to the Vulcano Island famous for its volcanic beaches and hot springs.
We will make an excursion to the crater of Vulcano Volcano, where we can see the curious fumaroles consisting of gas emanations coming from inside the earth. Free time to be at the beach of volcanic sand or take a thermal bath. In the afternoon we will take a boat back to Lípari where we will have free time to discover the secrets from the city, tour the old town or the Archaeological Museum.
We will leave the Island of Lípari to return by boat toSicily. Upon arrival at the port of Milazzo we will move to the North side of the famous Etna Volcano, which with 3,332 meters of altitude is the highest all
Europe We will make a short walk around the Monte Sartorius from which we will enjoy the first views of Etna and its volcanic activity.
Today we will thoroughly know the Etna Volcano, discovering the alignment of large open craters during the eruptions of 2002. We will have Spectacular views of the Ionian Coast. We will return to the hotel passing by the crest of the Bove Valley and the huge caldera formed by the collapse of an old volcano.
Optional excursion to the top of Etna: Climb on the cable car up to 2,900 meters of altitude and approach in off-road vehicle, accompanied by a guide volcanologist, depending on the volcanic activity we will walk on the top of Etna. If you cannot climb to the top you can walking to
2,900m altitude using the cable car and 4×4.
Today we will visit Taormina, probably the most beautiful town in Sicily, literally hanging from the cliff over the sea, with its impressive Roman theater. After lunch, we will leave for the airport Catania.
