You’ll start your holiday in the beautiful village of Castellammare del Golfo, in the northern coast of Sicily. This village lies adjacent to one of the Italian most pristine coastal natural areas: the Zingaro Natural Reserve. You will began your tour riding towards the salt pans and the wind mills of Nubia. After you’ll reach the coast of Marsala. You will pass by Mozia and Mazara del Vallo, the latter is worldwide known for the bronze statue of the Dancing Satyr. Do not miss a visit inside the archaeological site of Selinunte, a large area overlooking a marvellous sea. Your day ends in the enchanting village of Sciacca, on the seaside.

Itinerary

Arrival at the airport. Transfer to Castellammare, a fishermen village on the sea worldwide known for its superb white sand beach and the Zingaro Natural Reserve.
From Castellammare you will cycle towards the magnificent archaeological site of Segesta, one of the most important and evocative archeological areas due to the imposing temple and a breathaking view. In the past Segesta was a powerful Elymian town. Take your time and visit the gorgious Doric temple and the Amphiteatre. You won’t regret it!
During today excursion you will pedal inland through isolated rural areas showing the real Sicilian contry life. Arrival in Trapani, an important port, famous for its baroque churches, museums and shops. The most outstanding local productions include hand-harvested sea salt, tuna, coral jewelry and handwork. A notable production of works by experienced masters flourished in Trapani. They applied coral to gold and to copper and created precious jewels and valuable objects both for liturgical and household use.
Today you will pedal in total relax! The panoramic road goes along the sea where the sight of the salt pans is just amazing. You will have the chance to visit the little island of Mozia. Just a little more kilometres and you can reach Marsala, beautiful city laying on the sea boasting the production of a special sweet wine, the “Marsala”.
Today you have time to visit the city, taste some Marsala wine in one of the local cellars, or just relax. Then you will reach the town of Mazara del Vallo, whose city centre has a “Kasbah” and which is worldwide known for the bronze statue called the “Dancing Satyr”.
This stage is really great. Firstly you will cycle along the coast admiring the amazing views of the a crystalline sea, after you will continue inland among vineyards and olive trees until you reach the archaeological park surrounding Selinunte and extending about 1.300 metres from east to west.
Today you will ride to reach the enchanting Sciacca, a fisherman village, famous for ceramics, thermal baths, religious festivals, as well as for a large fishing fleet.
